Glad to hear that your area isn't to bad smoke wise. I don't miss tracking Purple Air data to see how bad the smoke was in the Sierra foothills. I think the worst PM 2.5 we experienced during the Caldor fire was around 700.

I just checked https://www.caiso.com/todays-outlook/supply and noticed that the 11:25 am reading for nuclear was up to 2153.

At 5:05 PM PDT on August 15, 2025, DCPP is at essentially full power at 2,266 MW

Hope you and yours remain safe and the fire is contained soon. I hope CA will one day more actively manage its forests. Other states which do so experience fewer major fires.

And thank you for the excellent content on Diablo and the general state of California power generation. Sadly, I am not at all, surprised by any of that.
